What you like to be called?          Janice

When did you start in budgies?   Had an aviary in back garden as a child. First husband brought home a pair of baby budgies (rainbows) and I started breeding pet budgies from about 1973. In 1980 joined North Essex BS and changed to exhibition budgies.

Favourite colour/variety (Budgie) Yellow Face Grey

Favourite colour (non-Budgie)     Gold

Pizza or Burger? Neither, but if homemade, pizza

Book or Kindle?  Book, don't have kindle. Read quite a lot

Additives fed to budgies?        Softfood for breeding pairs and babies

Best Budgie moment?     1985 when won Best Novice Young Bird at BS Club Show with a grey green on his 1st outing and 32 benched in his class!! That was as Mrs Foxton.

Budgie clubs you belong to? The Budgerigar Society, London & Southern Counties BS, South Midlands BS, Ipswich BS, ASBS, LABS, CBBA

Other hobbies?                 Gardening

Other clubs you belong to?          Cavendish Horticultural Society, East Anglian Gardening Group, Foxearth History Society, Pentlow Book Club, Gainsborough Health Club and Spa.

Favourite holiday destination?    Galapagos Islands, though not been yet!  Caribbean.

Average number of budgies kept? Approx 350

Softfood recipe?               Hard boiled eggs (but not in summer),     Broccoli, Carrots, Dried Egg Food, Breed Plus, Breed Plus Pro, Wheatgerm, Thrive 'n Gloss, B Pure, Seaweed, Mint, Quinoa, Linseed, Chia Seed.        Added to this either soaked super oats, or  groats soaked in Manuka honey with warm water or tinned sweetcorn

When do you have birds for sale?  We are hopeless and really need to sort out and sell several. Usually birds available most of the year.
